Still formally unnamed, 2175 AR2 is the second planet from the star Alpha Draconis. Its atmosphere is largely composited of hydrogen and helium, elements which give its clouds a distinct orange-brown colouration. This gas giant is orbited by 21 moon-sized objects which have yet to be explored by any contemporary spacefaring civilisation.

Aside from its moons, which may contain valuable resources, 2175 AR2 itself is an unlikely candidate for resource exploitation due to its poor resource levels. Orbital scans indicate that the planet contains trace amounts of economically viable transition metals, including palladium, platinum, and iridium, but not in quantities great enough to justify the expense of installing a costly robo-mining operation. However, if the Human Systems Alliance is successful in their attempts to colonise the neighbouring garden world 2175 Aeia, 2175 AR2 could see future development as a fuel depot and drive core discharge station for the colony.
